In this festival, which means a long time,To promote the Chinese nation“Respect, respect and help the elderly”The traditional virtues,Chinese Association of Chinese Medicine geriatrics branch and Yunnan Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine/Ward 3, Geriatrics Center, the First Affiliated Hospital of Yunnan University of Chinese Medicine/In the Department of Endocrinology, the medical team led by Professor Zhang Yun, deputy director of the Department of Endocrinology, carried out a main topic for residents of Wuhuashan community“Love at sunset”Popular science lectures and free clinic activities。

At the beginning of the activity, chief physician Zhang Yun carried out the relevant science popularization of diabetes, a common disease in the elderly, from how to eat reasonably, to how to exercise moderately, from the importance of safe medication, to the tips of daily safety prevention, and explained the prevention and response strategies of diabetes in a simple way。Let the majority of elderly people better control blood sugar, prevent complications。

After the end of the science popularization, the medical team continued to carry out free diagnosis for the elderly at the scene, including measuring blood pressure, blood sugar, health consultation, traditional Chinese medicine, observation and interrogation, eye moxibustion and other contents, the experts patiently answered each elderly person's doubts and confusion about the disease, and won everyone's praise。

We advocate the elderly residents to establish a healthy concept, develop healthy behaviors, and jointly build a health defense line. In this Thanksgiving and respect for the elderly festival, we will send a special care for the elderly。In the next step, the Endocrinology Department of our hospital will continue to carry out various kinds of activities to benefit the people in the form of health lectures and free clinics, so as to provide more health services for the majority of residents and constantly improve their health awareness and disease prevention awareness。
